1:1 Virtual Therapy in Colorado

My Private Pay, Tele-Mental Health services provide a safe, person centered and holistic space to explore and heal old wounds, generational cycles of adversity and stress, and patterns that no longer serve you. Therapy is a professional directed, clinical mode of treatment that explores your past and current suffering and teaches skills to help cope with and reduce symptoms that are impacting your mental health. While I am able to use coaching skills in therapy, I do not offer therapy to coaching clients in order to not confuse roles and relationships.

Resilient Life and Leadership Coaching

I offer 1:1 and group coaching to professional, future driven women in life and leadership. My coaching style is holistic, and focused on your value of human centered leadership. Together we create a safe, reflective partnership that supports you in your journey of personal and professional growth and success. Coaching is an equal and collaborative partnership which is facilitated by me, and led by you and your goals.

Training and Consultation

I offer a variety of customized, 1:1 and group trainings and reflective consultations for leaders, companies, and communities in support of mental wellness, stress management and resiliency. Training and Consultation is a service exchange in which I am imparting knowledge and education, and you decide how and when to implement that information.

ABOUT ME

Hi! I’m Jessi! I am obsessed with understanding how to break cycles of stress, anxiety and adversity, learning how to consciously create joy and ease…even through the darkest storms…and teaching highly intelligent, reflective, future driven women to do the same.

EXPERIENCE

As a wife, a parent and a former educator, I always say that I was a perfect parent until I became a parent. Learning to navigate the stressors of parenthood and still show up as a compassionate leader to my family and within my work has been my greatest, ongoing, life lesson and experience.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Colorado, with lots of fancy letters after my name. I have a Masters’ degrees in Community Counseling, School Counseling, and Educational Leadership, all from Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. I told you… I love learning!

I have worked as a School Counselor and Assistant Principal in elementary and middle school, and provide Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation to the adults who support the children (think parents, teachers, teacher leaders, etc.) I am a Certified Life Coach through Lumia, working towards and IFC credential.

None of these titles matter.

What matters the most is how I have seen, over and over again, in my life and in my work, that our early life experiences determine how we respond in stressful situations as adults… and as adults, the way we respond to stress impacts children’s early life experiences. It’s a cycle.

We ALL have stress, but when when we build our resilience to stress, we recover more quickly, have fewer lasting damages, and then experience less stress. It’s another cycle. Unless we create opportunities to break those cycles, we will find ourselves empty and burned out. Let our work together pour strength, peace, love and energy into you so you have more to pour into the ones you love and lead!

Client Testimonials

Jessi has taught me so much in such a small amount of time. My sessions with her are extremely valuable, and have helped me immeasurably.
— S.A.
I have had a few counselors in my life and Jessi is by far the best one I’ve ever had. Jessi has helped me deal with anxiety, family issues, acceptance of what I cannot change and finding spirituality. Words cannot express how much she’s helped me change and how kind spirited of a person she is. I’d 100% recommend her!
— S.A.
So much of leadership made more sense to me when I started to learn about values. My coach, Jessi Kovalik, did a lot of work to teach me about this concept when we began working together. I can’t overstate how much it fundamentally helped me have a more solid working framework for working with large groups of people.
